Meaning of "Rooms"
A "2.5 Room" apartment in Switzerland means 1 bedroom, 1 living room, and a kitchen/hallway which counts as 0.5. Bathrooms are not counted as rooms.

Most landlords require proof of personal liability insurance. It covers accidental damage you might cause to the rental property and costs very little per year.
